Removable Dentures in Warsaw
Tooth loss is not just a matter of aesthetics. It affects chewing function, digestion, speech, and even facial contours. One effective method of restoration is removable dentures.

Today, these devices are a far cry from outdated concepts. Thanks to modern materials and digital technologies, which are actively used at MONÉ Dental Clinic, dentures look natural, are comfortable to wear, and fully restore dental function.

Features of the Method
Removable dentures are versatile and affordable. You can remove the dentures yourself for cleaning or maintenance, making them convenient for everyday life.
Each denture is custom-made. At MONÉ Dental Clinic, the process begins with digital modeling, and having our own dental laboratory allows us to control quality at every stage—from diagnosis to final processing.
This ensures a precise fit, comfort, and the durability of the denture.

What Problems Do They Solve?
  • Removable dentures allow you to:
  • restore chewing function in cases of partial or complete tooth loss;
  • prevent the remaining teeth from shifting and changes in bite alignment;
  • improve speech clarity;
  • restore the aesthetics of your smile and boost self-confidence.

Indications:
Complete or partial absence of teeth in one or both jaws, when other methods of tooth replacement prove ineffective.
As a temporary measure during the implant integration period.

Contraindications:
  • allergy to the materials used in the procedure;
  • acute inflammatory conditions in the oral cavity;
  • certain neurological and psychiatric conditions.

Types of Dental Prosthesis Designs
Modern orthopedics offers various types of removable prostheses—they differ in materials, method of attachment, and cost. The selection is made on an individual basis, taking into account the clinical situation and the patient’s preferences.
Advantages of removable dentures:
  • Affordability. This is one of the most cost-effective ways to restore your teeth compared to implants or bridges.
  • No surgery. The procedure does not require surgery, tooth preparation, or intervention in the bone tissue.
  • Quick fabrication. On average, the denture is fabricated within 1–2 weeks.
  • Versatility. Suitable for patients of all ages and in a variety of clinical situations.
Important factors to consider:
  • Adjustment period. At first, the denture may feel like a foreign object; changes in speech and increased salivation may occur. It usually takes 2–3 weeks to a month to get used to it.
  • Reduced sense of taste. The base of the denture partially covers the palate, where the taste buds are located.
  • Care requirements. The denture must be removed regularly, cleaned, and, if necessary, secured with adhesive.
  • Bone atrophy. Since the load is borne by the gums rather than the bone, bone loss continues in the area of the missing teeth.
  • Limited lifespan. On average, about 5 years, after which the denture may need to be relined or replaced.
How Treatment Works
at MONÉ Dental Clinic
Процесс протезирования в клинике — это слаженная работа врача-ортопеда и зубного техника, включающая несколько последовательных этапов:
Consultation and Diagnosis
During the initial visit, the dentist examines the oral cavity, assesses the condition of the mucous membranes, the remaining teeth, and the amount of bone tissue.
Preparation of the Oral Cavity
Dental treatment is being performed: inflammation is treated, teeth that can be saved are treated, those that cannot be restored are extracted, and professional dental hygiene is performed.
Taking impressions or scanning
Precise impressions are taken of the jaws, or digital scans are performed, which improves comfort and manufacturing accuracy.
Laboratory phase
In the dental laboratory, models are fabricated, followed by the creation of trial wax-up models for fitting, and—once approved—the final prosthesis.
Fitting and adjustments.
The finished prosthesis is fitted, and the dentist evaluates its fit, bite, and appearance. If necessary, adjustments are made to the prosthesis.
After the prosthesis is permanently secured, the patient receives recommendations regarding care and the adjustment period.

Denture Care
To ensure a long service life, it is important to follow these simple rules:
  • clean your dentures twice a day with a soft brush;
  • rinse them after meals;
  • use special cleaning solutions regularly;
  • store them in water or a special solution;
  • see your dentist at least once every 6 months.

If the dentures cause discomfort, do not try to adjust them yourself—it is better to consult a specialist.
