Same-Day Implant Placement — Tooth Restoration in a Single Visit in Warsaw.
Same-day implant placement is a modern technique that allows an implant to be placed immediately after tooth extraction, all in a single visit to the clinic.

Unlike the traditional protocol, in which several months pass between extraction and implant placement, all key steps are completed in a single day. The patient arrives with a problematic tooth and leaves with an implant and a temporary crown already in place.
This is not science fiction, but the standard in modern implantology.

How It Differs from the Traditional Approach
In traditional two-stage implantation, the tooth is first extracted, followed by a 3–6-month healing period, after which the implant is placed. This is followed by another period of osseointegration, and only then is the crown placed. The entire process can take up to a year.
With single-stage implantation, the implant is placed immediately into the socket of the extracted tooth. This helps preserve bone volume and reduces the overall treatment time.
Recovery is faster, and the need for additional procedures, such as bone grafting, is often reduced.

84% of patients choose this method to avoid lengthy treatment and temporary removable restorations.

When This Method Is Appropriate
Key conditions for successful immediate implant placement:
  • sufficient bone volume and density;
  • absence of acute inflammation at the extraction site;
  • the ability to achieve reliable primary implant stability.

This method is used for replacing either a single tooth or multiple teeth at the same time.
Same-day implant placement is not performed in the following cases:
  • active inflammatory processes (pus, cysts);
  • severe bone atrophy;
  • exacerbation of periodontal disease;
  • severe systemic diseases in the decompensated stage;
  • prolonged tooth loss, when bone tissue has already been lost.

In such cases, preference is given to conventional implant placement with preliminary preparation.
Stages of Treatment in a Single Day
Implantation at “MONÉ” is a team effort involving specialists and a well-structured process:
Diagnosis and Planning
The treatment process begins with a detailed diagnostic evaluation:
Computed tomography (CT) — a 3D scan of the jaw that allows for an assessment of bone density and volume, as well as the location of nerves and blood vessels and the condition of the tooth roots.
Digital 3D planning—based on the CT scan, a virtual model is created in which the dentist determines in advance the exact position of the implant, its angle of inclination, and the depth of placement.
Bone assessment—an analysis is performed to determine whether there is sufficient bone volume and quality for reliable implant fixation.
Non-traumatic removal
The tooth is extracted as gently as possible, preserving the alveolar socket. The less trauma there is, the better the conditions for implant placement.
Implant Placement
The dentist positions the implant according to a pre-determined plan, guiding the procedure using 3D navigation and intraoperative imaging.
A key requirement is achieving stable primary stability—this is what determines whether immediate loading and the placement of a temporary crown are possible.
Temporary Crown
The temporary restoration is fabricated in our in-house dental laboratory within a day. It is placed either on the day of implantation or 1–2 days later—after initial soft-tissue healing—depending on the clinical situation and the stability of the implant. It restores aesthetics but does not bear any occlusal load.
Permanent crown
After 3–4 months (sometimes up to 6 months), the temporary restoration is replaced with a permanent one—made of ceramic or zirconia.
Post-Treatment Recommendations
In the first few days:
  • stick to a soft diet;
  • avoid hot foods;
  • do not chew on the side where the implant was placed.

Going forward:
  • practice thorough but gentle oral hygiene;
  • avoid putting pressure on the temporary crown;
  • attend follow-up appointments. Follow-up appointments are scheduled 7 days after the procedure, then one month later, and before the permanent crown is placed. This allows us to monitor the healing process and ensure a stable result.
This technique allows for the restoration of teeth in a safe and predictable manner, with guaranteed long-term results.

Benefits of the Method for the Patient
Minimal surgical intervention
Instead of two or three stages, a single procedure is performed. This reduces stress for the patient and allows them to return to their normal routine more quickly.
Cost Optimization
In most cases, there is no need for bone grafting or the use of temporary removable restorations, which makes the treatment more cost-effective.
Comfort and Pain Relief
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and is as comfortable as possible. You’ll feel only slight pressure or vibration. If you’re particularly anxious or if multiple implants are being placed, the procedure can be performed under sedation or general anesthesia—you’ll simply fall asleep and wake up when everything is finished.
Preservation of tissue and natural aesthetics
Placing an implant immediately after tooth extraction helps preserve bone volume and gum contour, preventing their atrophy. This results in a more natural and aesthetically pleasing outcome compared to delayed implantation.
Shorter treatment times
The entire process takes an average of 3–6 months, rather than the usual 6–12, from tooth extraction to the placement of the permanent restoration.
Cost and Payment
The price depends on the clinical situation: the number of implants, the extent of preparation, and the materials selected.
The patient receives a detailed treatment plan in advance with a fixed price that includes diagnostics, the surgical and prosthetic phases, as well as laboratory work.

Convenient payment options are available, including installment plans.
