Traditional Dental Implants in Warsaw — A Reliable Foundation for Dental Restoration
Classic two-stage implantation is considered the “gold standard” in modern dentistry. The procedure involves two consecutive stages: first, a titanium implant is placed in the bone tissue, where it acts as an artificial root and undergoes osseointegration—a process of strong fusion with the bone.
This stage takes an average of 3 to 6 months.

Once full osseointegration is achieved, the abutment and crown are attached; the crown fully replaces the lost tooth in terms of shape, color, and function.

Why This Method Is Considered the Gold Standard
The main advantage of the classic method is the separation of the surgical and prosthetic stages. This allows for careful monitoring of each stage of treatment and minimizes risks.
According to statistics, the success rate reaches 99%, making this approach one of the most reliable in implantology.
At MONÉ Dental Clinic, this method is our preferred approach and remains the optimal choice for patients seeking stable, long-term results.

Indications and Contraindications
Conventional dental implant placement is suitable for most patients and is used in the following cases:
  • missing one or more teeth;
  • complete edentulism (in combination with the All-on-4 or All-on-6 protocols);
  • the need for bone grafting;
  • a history of periodontal disease;
  • restoration of the chewing teeth.

Contraindications are divided into absolute (severe systemic diseases) and relative—such as smoking, poor oral hygiene, or inflammatory conditions. The latter can usually be corrected before treatment begins.
Advantages of the method
  • preservation of adjacent teeth without grinding them down;
  • the ability to create fixed restorations even in cases of complete tooth loss;
  • restoration of chewing function and aesthetics comparable to natural teeth;
  • prevention of bone loss.

Special Feature:
Treatment takes longer compared to alternative methods, but ensures the most stable and long-lasting results.

The main advantage of traditional implant placement is that it can be performed even in cases of bone atrophy. In such cases, we use bone grafting techniques and 3D planning. This allows us to restore teeth even for patients with complex clinical situations who have been turned away by other clinics.
Stages of Treatment
Implantation at “MONÉ” is a team effort involving specialists and a well-structured process:
Consultation and Diagnosis
The doctor conducts a physical examination, takes photographs, and performs a CT scan to plan the surgery and assess the need for additional procedures.
Digital Planning
Based on CT scans and dental scans, a model and a surgical guide are created to help place the implants with the greatest possible precision
Preparation
Before the procedure, any sources of infection are treated, and oral hygiene is performed. If necessary, the patient undergoes basic tests to ensure the procedure can be performed safely.
Bone grafting (if necessary)
In cases of bone deficiency, bone grafting or a sinus lift is performed, sometimes in combination with implant placement
Surgical Phase
Implants are placed in the bone tissue, and gum augmentation is performed if necessary. A gum shaper is used to contour the gums.
Osseointegration and Prosthetics
The implant integration period lasts 3–6 months. After that, the abutment and a custom crown—fabricated in our in-house laboratory—are cemented in place.
This technique allows for the restoration of teeth in a safe and predictable manner, with guaranteed long-term results.
